Players in HoopVerse are purely fictional, represented as player cards with unique identity, rarity and stats. Players age in real time and they will eventually retire to be replaced by rookies. There will always be 1500 unique active players in the game for you to collect and choose from to build your team. Players also progress or regress based on their hidden potential, making the experience realistic and unpredictable.

How do leagues work?

Leagues are multiplayer competitions where you can play against up to 29 other managers in real-time. You should join a league in your timezone to ensure that you can play your games at convenient times. On average, you will have 2 games scheduled per day. You do not need to be online at the time of the game, you can simply set your lineup, rotations and playstyle beforehand. You can also watch the live game simulation and make adjustments on the fly if you are available. Leagues are divided into regular season games (around 41 days) and playoffs (around 2 weeks), following the NBA format but with faster game pace.
